Stephanie Sherrin has arrived on Ascension Island to take up the position of Policy, Projects and Communications Officer with the Ascension Island Government (AIG). Stephanie brings over a decade of experience in both government and the private sector, with a strong background in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications. Her professional experience includes advising decision-makers and leading consultation processes, equipping her to support the Government’s priorities and ongoing projects. Stephanie is also completing her studies towards an LLB (Hons) in Law.
Originally from the Lake District, with experience working in both the US and UK, Stephanie is looking forward to contributing to the work of the Ascension Island Government and engaging with the local community.
“I am delighted to begin my role with AIG and to be part of such a unique and close-knit community. I look forward to supporting the Government’s work and working collaboratively across the Island. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, practicing yoga and spending time at the beach with my family.”
