Acting Administrator Sworn In

HH the Administrator Simon Minshull departed Ascension Island on Thursday 21 August
2025. During his absence the Head of the Administrator’s Office, Martin Hogg, will be
fulfilling the duties and functions of Administrator.

Martin was appointed as Acting Administrator by the Governor acting in accordance
with the provisions of s147 of the Constitution read with s183(3), and was sworn in by
Simon Minshull.

Martin will be undertaking the role of Acting Administrator until Simon Minshull returns
to the island.
