Further St Helena Charter Flights Confirmed

7 August 2020

Government, Travel and Shipping

The St Helena Government (SHG) has announced that Titan Airways has been commissioned to undertake four further flights between the UK and St Helena, via Ascension. It is intended that these will operate on a six weekly basis with target dates for operations taking place the weeks commencing:

14 September 2020
26 October 2020
30 November 2020
11 January 2021

If there is sufficient passenger demand the flights will operate via Ascension on both legs of the journey to and from the UK. The passenger capacity of the flights is not yet known and will be dependent on passenger demand and the chosen aircraft type.

Although this may provide an opportunity for individuals to travel between Ascension and St Helena, due to the limited capacity of the Bradley’s Camp quarantine facility on St Helena, SHG will be assigning seats to St Helena on a priority basis as per the previous repatriation flights.

To register interest in these flights individuals should contact the Travel and Shipping Office on 66244 or by email through kitty.george@ascension.gov.ac. If individuals wish to register their interest for the first flight expected to take place the week commencing 14 September, this must be done so no later than Tuesday 18 August.
