The Ascension Island Government (AIG) formally announces the appointment of Stephanie Sherrin as Policy, Projects and Communications Officer.
Stephanie brings over ten years’ experience across government and the private sector, with established expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and policy delivery. Her professional background includes advising senior decision-makers and leading complex consultation processes. She will support the development and delivery of AIG’s strategic priorities and key programmes of work. Stephanie is currently completing an LLB (Hons) in Law.
Originally from the Lake District, Stephanie has worked in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Her appointment reflects AIG’s continued commitment to strengthening policy capability and effective communication across government.
Of the appointment, Stephanie says:
“I am delighted to begin my role with AIG and to be part of such a unique and close-knit community. I look forward to supporting the Government’s work and working collaboratively across the Island. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, practicing yoga and spending time at the beach with my family.”
