CEF 19 2025 – GT Pool Renovations

You asked: I was told that a tender for renovating the Georgetown pool was released a while back and then when the tender period had finished nothing more was heard about it. So they were inquiring about when these works were going forward as the pool does need and uplift and they very much enjoy the pool and the area surrounding.

AIG Responded: Following some recent staff changes within the Facilities & Operations Directorate, we have taken a little time to reassess what is the best solution for the Georgetown Swimming Pool. We have identified a stitching and filling method which will enable the repair of the swimming pool. This work will be followed by renovations. Discussions will take place with the new Director of Facilities & Operations. Considering the logistics, works are anticipated to commence during Q2 2026.
